The Institutional Evaluator contributes to the implementation of field assessments of nonprofit organizations using MAEIN's methodology for assessing and developing organizational capacities of local organizations (MOAD). The goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses and produce accurate assessment reports that support the development of institutional capacity-building plans. The evaluator serves as a link between the target organizations and the expert team, ensuring that the assessment process is conducted in accordance with international standards while taking into account local contexts.
Main responsibilities
Implementing the field evaluation process for non-profit organizations in accordance with the approved work mechanism.
Reviewing the results of the desk evaluation and documenting them in comprehensive professional reports.
Participate in field visits and collect data using approved tools.
Drafting evaluation reports including observations, analyses and practical recommendations.
Contribute to the formulation of capacity building plans based on the assessment results for each organization.
Submit final reports to the expert team and ensure they are consistent with the approved template.
Providing technical support to civil society institutions to enhance their institutional readiness.
Qualifications and requirements:
University degree in management, development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional evaluation or development/humanitarian projects.
High skills in data collection, analysis and report writing.
Ability to work in the field and communicate with various stakeholders.
